We have a tendency to separate and compartmentalize things in our lives. But God uses the message of the prophet Amos to remind us that we will be held to account if we fail to fully live into God's idea of justice. God's picture of righteousness embraces not just the spiritual dimensions of our lives like prayer and worship, but also how we attend to the physical needs of those around us.
