An Unexpected Party
Series: The Gospel of Luke
Join one of our elders, Steve Nicolle, this Sunday as we continue our sermon series in the Gospel of Luke. In this section of Luke's gospel, Jesus is invited to a dinner party where the host lays a trap to discredit him in front of his rich and respectable guests. However Jesus turns the tables on the hypocritical host and his self-important guests, and then tells a story about the party that God is throwing. God's party is open to everyone, but only those who know that they don't deserve an invitation are able to accept it. Are we willing to admit our need, and humbly accept the invitation to God's party?
