Walk in the Spirit of Reconciliation

by Brad Sumner on April 21, 2022

Join us May 27, 28, and 29 for the 7th annual Walk in the Spirit of Reconciliation! This year's walk will be self-guided, maps will be provided and you can walk at a time that works best for you! We will be posting Indigenous information, stories, and videos on the Facebook Event page for you to read or watch before or during the Walk.

We hope you will join us for any/all of the days as we walk in lament and solidarity with our First Nations brothers and sisters whose families have been affected by the residential schools for many generations. As anyone of our human family have been affected, we are all affected.

Indigenous Resources
We will post Indigenous information, stories, and videos on the Facebook event page throughout the week prior to the walk for you to read or watch before and during the Walk weekend.

Photos and Videos
We are asking walk participants (who are willing) to post photos or videos of them at the beginning and end of their walk or along the way, so we know what sections of the walk have been completed. We look forward to seeing some fun photos posted.

We hope you will join us for any/all of the days as we walk as individuals or in our family groups in lament and solidarity of our First Nations brothers and sisters, remembering the traumatic harm done by residential schools for so many generations. As anyone of our human family have been affected, we are all affected.
