Steve Nicolle

Steve and Ali Nicolle and their 3 children arrived in Canada from Kenya in 2013 and immediately found a warm welcome at JRCC. They have been attending JRCC ever since and have been members for over 7 years. Steve was involved with the facilities team until last year and continues to play drums with the worship team.
Steve and Ali are originally from the UK, and have been supported missionaries with Wycliffe Bible Translators for 25 years. They were involved with a Bible translation and literacy program among the Digo people in Kenya for 8 years before Steve moved into a training and leadership role serving Bible translation and linguistics work in various countries in Africa. Steve and Ali are currently serving at Canada Institute of Linguistics (CanIL) on the campus of Trinity Western University. They became Canadian citizens in 2020.
In his free time, Steve enjoys fellowship with a JRCC small group, reading, cycling, and brewing beer (especially when it turns out to be drinkable).
