Music at Jericho is a vehicle that we use to promote community amongst the congregation and praise for the One who made us all. Our aim as band leaders is to help create an atmosphere where people are tuned into what God has to say on Sunday mornings by presenting high quality, participation-oriented music. We have a number of talented musicians at the Ridge who make this happen on a regular basis and our comfortable atmosphere allows for those who love to sing and those who love to hum along feel like they belong.
Aaron Rowe (coordinator - currently on sabbatical)
Since the beginning of JRCC, Aaron has given direction to the music scene. He is also a deft soccer player and a committed player on our Jericho Ridge United team. Aaron teaches writing, history, and psychology at Brookswood Secondary School. He and his wife Kimberley live in Walnut Grove with their three young children: Adeline, Oliver, and Elliott.
Favourite albums at the moment: Tim Hughes: "Hold Nothing Back" and Downhere: "Wide Eyed and Mystified"
Kevin Klassen
Kevin's gentle spirit is evident in his worship style, but he also likes it to rock once and awhile. He is currently a registed clinical counsellor with Cares Counselling and Restoration Services in Abbotsford. Kevin and his wife Kristen live in Willoughby with their two young daughters: Samara and Rya.
Jared Crossley
After leading music as a student at Trinity Western a few years ago and in his home church growing up, Jared is continuing to use his musical gifts at Jericho Ridge. Jared works as a website designer at TWU and often helps with children's ministry at JRCC (his wife Ruth Ellen is JRCC's children's director). Jared and Ruth Ellen love everything that has to do with music... and they're big fans of theatre too!
