We believe in the power of prayer and we gather regularly for prayer at the following times:
Sundays: Prior to each morning gathering, we pray together from 9:50 - 10:20 AM in the small room by the walking bridge in the Banquet Hall. We invite you to come early this week and join us as we listen to God and dedicate the morning to His work.
Tuesdays: Our prayer team meets on the second Tuesday of every month at Dave & Jacqueline Pasko's home from 7:30-8:30 PM. If you'd like to join the team for this time of prayer, please email Jacqueline for directions.
Wednesdays: The leaders of multiple churches and Christian ministries in Willoughby gather together for prayer and connection at Willoughby Christian Reformed Church. Our staff team also meets together on Wednesday afternoons for a weekly meeting and part of our time together is spent praying for each other and for other members of the JRCC church family.
Thursdays: One of our LIFE Groups meets weekly on Thursday evening with the specific purpose of praying together. You can learn more about this group by visiting our LIFE Groups page.
Elders' Meetings: Our elders' team meets together every month (usually the first Tuesday of the month) with the sole purpose of praying together.
Online Prayer Items: You can be informed about the praise and prayer items that have been submitted by our church family by creating a user account for this website and then visiting the "Prayer Requests" page which is located under the "Ridge-ites" tab.
ePrayer Team: If you'd like to receive prayer and praise items as they're received (sort of like the ol' fashioned prayer chain), you can email prayer@jerichoridge.com and ask to be included.
Prayer Requests: You can submit a request to the ePrayer team by emailing prayer@jerichoridge.com or by speaking with Pastor Brad or Pastor Keith. Many people prefer to keep their requests private, so you can include who you would like your request passed onto (i.e. ePrayer team, elders, Info Sheet publication, etc).
LIFE Groups: Our small groups are committed to praying for each other and for the mission and health of JRCC.
The pastoral team and elders are also happy to respond to any items of need or concern in prayer. Please feel free to contact Pastor Brad to schedule a time of prayer together.
