The book of Judges is dark. It's a series of stories that chronicles the sinfulness of Israel and her tendency to forget God and pursue other gods. Yet, because of His mercy, God consistently raises up a judge to deliver His people from oppression. This series focuses on the fact that God can, has, and will use any person, regardless of their imperfections. |
