Jericho Ridge United is a club that was founded in February 2007 and played its inaugural season in the British Columbia Church Soccer League (BCCSL). Their expansion record was admirable but the real progress was made in the relationships that were built during the training times and post-game revelries. Injuries hampered the team late in the season but that is often the case when people lace up the boots after years (sometimes many years) of not playing.

Fast forwarding to 2009, the team re-entered the BCCSL with a few new faces along with some experienced returners from the '07 United squad. Having advanced to the second division, the team was overmatched early in the season, but once the team got in shape, they returned to their winning ways at the end of the season. The 2009 team was managed by Joel Kooger and coached by Mike Teeter.

The United will once again play in the BCCSL in 2010 with the season expected to begin in April. If you are interested in playing, please contact team manager Joel Kooger.

Jericho Ridge United is part of a greater vision called Ridge Fitness which includes a variety of fitness initiatives. The purpose of Ridge Fitness is to promote health and well-being in the Willoughby area through individual fitness plans, community team game events, and social interaction.
